Resumen:

We present results of simulations regarding time-resolved transillumination imaging over decreasing integration times. The temporal extrapolation is performed with the diffusion approximation solution to the transport equation. The dependence on time used to discriminate photons in imaging is shown. The simulations involve detecting completely absorbing rods within a turbid medium, observing nonlinearities in the imaging process of these complete absorbing rods in media with a high degree of scattering. © OSA 2015.
