Resumen:

We present a brief review of recent advances in experimental investigations of dielectric relaxation in glass-forming systems, especially with regard to the feature of the excess wing and the applicability of Nagel scaling. Based on the new findings described, we analyze our contributions to the search for microscopic models yielding glass-like relaxation behavior, and suggest future investigations. © 2005 by Imperial College Press.
