Resumen:

This paper presents results of a testing program designed to study low-strain stiffness and energy dissipation in Mexico City sediments. G modulus and attenuation were measured during isotropic loading using a resonant column device at shear strains varying from ? = 10-3 to 10-2. Damping showed higher sensitivity than shear modulus to stress and time.
