Resumen:

We demonstrate an experimental technique to isolate and enhance quadrupolar SHG in isotropic materials using two orthogonally polarized laser beams that create wavelength-scale, forward-radiating gradients in the second-harmonic polarization. © 2004 Optical Society of America.
