Resumen:

This paper describes the effect that building parameters (layer thickness, raster width, raster angle, air gap and part orientation) have on the mechanical properties and building time of parts manufactured by Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM). The authors used the Insight® software to observe the influence of building parameters on building time. The results of the analysis reported in this paper show that building parameters affect the tensile strength and the building time of parts. The obtained building time was correlated with building parameters and mechanical properties reported in [1-4] to finally obtain the correlation between the building parameters, mechanical properties and building time.
