Resumen:

There are several kinematic and dynamic methods for position analysis of mechanism motion, however, in compliant mechanisms is also necessary to know whether the strain induced at flexible members is located within the elastic range of the material. Changes flexible elements geometry implies nonlinearity conditions, so the use of numerical methods where programming have done for the design, nevertheless these are only models 1D and 2D, which brings cost in time and data loss. This paper analyzes compliant mechanisms using the Finite Elements Method in Abaqus® software, which allows changing conditions of desired loads, besides being able to perform analysis with 3D geometries and of multiple link assembly, whether rigid or flexible of the compliant orthosis.
