Resumen:

The nonlinear optical properties of a colloidal suspension of biosynthesized gold nanoparticles were investigated. As a result of the characterization, the samples with the higher nonlinear optical response were selected to demonstrate the formation of bright spatial solitons with propagation lengths of up to 10mm, using a CW laser with only few tens of milliwatts of optical power. © OSA 2017.
