Resumen:

In this work we present advances in the generation of new knowledge and professional integration of students through the use of new educational technologies of information and communication. In this fashion we contribute to the quality of training of our university students allowing the ``knowledge society'' of new knowledge. For this purpose we developed a research project that lasted two years, where we evaluated the student's opinion on the creation of electronic manual and video graphic materials for their laboratory practices. These laboratories belong to the area of Cell and Molecular Biology named ``Formative Research Laboratories (FRL) VII and VIII at the FES Zaragoza UNAM'' for the Bs.C. degree in Biology at our University. In this laboratory participated 50 students every six months. In the future we plan to extend our methodology to the other laboratories in Biology (900 students per year). An ex profeso instrument was designed where the students participated by answering key questions related to how they perceive their knowledge integration into the curricula of this type of new teaching techniques. Our results indicated that the students were interested in the application of these new learning technologies, specifically in the elaboration of an electronic manual and video graphic material for the RT-PCR, flow cytometry and western blot protocols.
