Resumen:

The vast ocean surface of the globe is known not only for its thermoregulator capability but also for its significant capacity for absorbing anthropogenic CO2 (Brewer 2009). Since the Industrial Revolution, the burning of fossil fuels has historically represented the primary source of energy to sustain economic productivity. However, they also have become one of the main anthropogenic stressors in the world oceans approximately since the mid 20th century. Its gas emissions into the atmosphere have been closely correlated with the increasing global CO2 and linked to shifts in climate perturbations. © 2017 by Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
