Resumen:
Software development for mobile platforms demands adapting and sometimes
replacing current or traditional technologies and methodologies. The use
of Agile Methods seems to be one of the handiest choices. Thus Prosoft
has detected an area of opportunity and is now encouraging software
development through various mechanisms, such as the creation of regional
clusters focused on information technologies. This article presents an
analysis towards identification of best practices in software
development oriented to mobile platforms (APPs), which allow Mexican
software factories to compete at national and international markets.
This research is bound to Mexico's Midwest region defined by CANIETI and
is directed to the generation of APPs. Several surveys were conducted,
generating revealing results which are presented in depth.
