Resumen:

This paper presents the dynamic equations of a flexible tethered satellite system in a circular orbit. The tether is modelled as a combination of point masses connected with massless rods. Through this model the flexibility and distributed mass of tether are considered. The results of the numerical experiments show the effectiveness of the proposed model for analysing the longitudinal and transverse oscillations of the system. © 2018 IEEE.
