Resumen:

In this paper a dc-dc switching quadratic step-up converter for photovoltaic applications is presented. The converter is based on a noncascading structure I-IIC. A model of the converter, steady-state characteristics and a controller design to regulate the input voltage (photovoltaic module voltage) are given. For the regulation task, a multiloop control scheme is applied, where the inner loop uses the inductor current as feedback and the outer loop is implemented using a proportional-integrative controller. In the outer loop the photovoltaic module voltage is used to obtain the error signal. The input voltage regulation is used to control the injected power from the photovoltaic array. © 2018 IEEE.
