Resumen:

A controller based on an adaptive generalized predictive control scheme for power-split in a simplified model of a dieselelectric hybrid vehicle is presented. The proposed controller gets an optimal partition of power between a diesel engine and an electric machine where parametric uncertainty and constraints on the input and output signals are considered. Simulation results are presented showing good performance of the adaptive predictive control over a driving cycle, maintaining good power tracking and meeting the constraints. The proposed controller has low computational cost. Copyright © 2012 by ASME.
