Resumen:

Introduction: Why Legisprudence? Reintegrating legislation to the nucleus of law implies not only reviewing the conditions of why it has been on leave or in the periphery of the legal processes, but also revising the possibilities - and even the necessity - of ?legisprudence? as the theory of legislation; its characteristics as a theory of legislators and legislatures, on one side, and of lawmaking, on the other; its relationships to other legal process within the ?legal? or ?juridical? science, namely ?jurisprudence?, and to ?legal rationality? in the search for an appropriate ?rationality of legislation?. In addition, as the main aim of this contribution is to seek out for the proper place for legisprudence in legal or juridical analysis, it is imperative to contrast it to both ?constitutionalism? and ?legalism?. © 2005 Luc J.
