Resumen:

In this paper a geotechnical characterization of former Texcoco Lake subsoil is presented. The analysis consists of a detailed study of the spatial distribution of the subsoil geotechnical properties such as resistance (q(c)) in CPT and shear wave velocity (V-S) applying the univariate (kriging) and multivariate (cokriging) geostatistical methodologies. When using multivariate geostatistics, the linear correlation between some geotechnical properties with a large number of data available (q(c)) and parameters with a few number of data (V-S) is taken advantage of to estimate punctually the values of these parameters using minimum variance estimators (cokriging).
