Resumen:

A maximum power point tracking (MPPT) scheme based on a power factor correction (PFC) strategy that uses a multiplier approach is presented. The purpose is that the switching converter behaves as a resistor seen by the photovoltaic module, and thus regulate the input voltage to a desired value. Moreover the multiplier approach considers an inner current loop and an outer voltage loop. In order to obtain a stable closed-loop system, a procedure to determine the bounds of controller parameters is developed. Finally, the control scheme is validated through simulation results. © 2016 IEEE.
