Resumen:

The typical triaxial stress behaviour of pumice and quartz sands are mathematically characterized by the theoretical equations derived from the Principle of Natural Proportionality. Reference is made to triaxial compression tests results under confining stress of up to 200kPa performed in loose and dense specimens of both types of sands. © 2009 IOS Press.
