Resumen:

In order to achieve a better understanding of the earthquakes nature, as well as of improving the techniques of simulation of the same ones, in this work the random and fractal characteristics that possess are studied. For a lot of time it was intended diverse techniques to generate synthetic earthquakes, the classic focus in this case has always consisted on using methods based on probability and statistic. For such a reason in this work a brief summary is presented of some of these procedures. Likewise, the employment of algorithms based on neuronal nets has allowed detecting behavior patterns in seismic signs in way similar to as this neuronal procedural it has been used to recognize voice patterns.
