Resumen:

A simplified method for the analysis of flexible retaining walls subjected to earthquake loading is presented. The method was developed using finite element simulations of a number of geometries for the wall, different soil conditions and compatible earthquake records to represent most cases of practical interest. The results obtained from the numerical simulations were organized and generalized using dimensional analysis.
