Resumen:

Pincer complexes are one of the most versatile platforms used in catalysis. In particular, the catalytic applications of group 9 pincer complexes are surprisingly wide. In fact, these complexes have been used to catalyze several relevant transformations ranging from cross-couplings to hydrogenations, turning them in fundamental tools in both organometallic and synthetic organic chemistry. Thus, this chapter summarizes the most relevant advances in the catalytic applications of group 9 pincer complexes, covering relevant early examples to put in context the evolution to the latest reported in 2020. © 2022 Elsevier Ltd.
