Resumen:

This investigation proposes a dynamic voltage restorer controlled per independent phases that is able to alleviate power quality sags-swells under unbalanced/balanced grid conditions, employing a two-level, three-phase voltage-source converter. This proposal takes advantage of the implementation of linear controllers per phase of the three-phase feeder in the dq0 reference frame, using the phase compensation method to regulate the voltage amplitude in balanced or unbalanced systems. The effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed control framework is demonstrated by employing simulated scenarios under fault conditions on the IEEE 13-node test feeder, compensating the voltage variations on each phase in less than 50 milliseconds by installing dynamic voltage restorers at the sensitive nodes. © 2023 Elsevier Inc.
