Resumen:

Starting from a phenomenological model which takes into account the nonlocal character of a nonlinear interaction we obtain an analytical expression for the z-scan normalized transmittance of a thin nonlocal nonlinear media by means of the Gaussian decomposition method. © 2014 OSA.
