Resumen:

Semiconductor polymers can be synthesized in different ways depending on the goal. The different ways allow obtaining polymers with peculiar properties that enhance the development of electronic devices. The semiconducting polymers are associated with p-bonds, and according to the charge carrier, they are classified as hole or electron transporting. Their electrical, mechanical, and optical properties are related to their structure, morphology, and transport characteristics. The characterization of polymer materials in their electrical visual, physical, and chemical aspects provides the relevant information about the material?s role in semiconductors. Additionally, the study of various organic materials applied in the physical, chemical, optical, and electrical fields allows us to know and take advantage of these natural compounds? properties. © 2022 selection and editorial matter, Inamuddin, Mohd Imran Ahamed, Rajender Boddula, Tariq A.
