Resumen:

Can anthropological insight contribute to the struggles of indigenous peoples? Can the struggles of indigenous communities develop anthropological knowledge? Can these two seemingly distinct realms coalesce to support mutual development? Or is the gap between them inherently unbreachable? This chapter aims to address these questions by drawing from my collaborative and active participation in various indigenous movements advocating for self-rule and autonomy in Michoacán and Mexico. I will specifically delve into the notion of ?Militant Legal Anthropology?, a concept I have cultivated over the past decade. © 2024 selection and editorial matter, Riccarda Flemmer, Bani Gill, and Jacky Kosgei; individual chapters, the contributors.
